Meet Michael D'Ampolo, President and Founder of M&L Transit Systems
Michael D'Ampolo Founded M&L Transit Systems in 1983
Prior to founding M&L Transit Systems, Michael D'Ampolo was an accomplished boxer. He held many amateur titles including the New England Golden Gloves, the Massachusetts Light Heavyweight and the New England Light Heavyweight titles. In 1983, he participated in the Olympic boxing trials held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and elevated to the semifinals with "Iron" Mike Tyson and "Irish" Mickey Ward.
In 1986, Michael retired from boxing and dedicated his time to expanding M&L into what it is today. As owner and operator, he oversees the garage staff and manages the safe and optimal performance of the entire fleet. Michael has a CDL with passenger endorsement and is the final sign-off on all M&L vehicle protocols.
Michael's extensive ground transportation service experience instilled the importance of preventive maintenance, passenger safety and vehicle comfort and cleanliness. His goal is excellence without exception, and he has established processes that enable consistent performance for M&L's staff, vehicles and operations.
